  • Bernard "Bernie" L. McIntee, III
    Funeral Director
Bernie, a third generation funeral director, moved to Florida from Rochester, New York. He started several trade and funeral service companies during the 1980's and 1990's. In 2004 Bernie and his wife Marcia, purchased Kalis Funeral Home; thus, restoring in our community, family ownership and tradition with the Kalis-McIntee Funeral & Cremation Center, becoming one of the last "family owned and operated" funeral establishments in the Broward County area.
  • Marcia McIntee
    Corporate Administrator
My career in funeral service began when I met Bernie, we married in 1991 and we worked in all aspects of the industry. The chance to purchase Kalis Funeral Home was a great opportunity for us…not having the cash flow for this, we borrowed from family and friends…alas, we had backers! We got the remainder of the money from an SBA loan and here we are today. I would like to thank everyone in the community for their support, we are grateful to be here to help you with your funeral and cremation needs.
