Thomas (Tom) Ryan, 75, left us on March 18th, 2017, with his family and friends by his side in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tom was born February 5th, 1942, in Glens Falls, N.Y. to Frank and Monica Ryan. The family relocated to Fort Lauderdale in the early 70's. Tom worked as a truck driver for several companies and retired from Mobil Oil In 1995. He was known as "Turtle" because of his slow speed and great accuracy. During this time he met and married his loving wife, Bettye Ryan in 1975.His interests included his family, sports and rescued dogs. His Jack Russell Terrier, Charley was his side-kick who escorted him to many of Fort. Lauderdale's taverns.
