It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this. Tait was such a compassionate, fair, fun and loving person that I had the sincere pleasure of working with and getting to know as a friend. He always brought a smile to my face when he was around and I will miss him dearly! I pray that all of his loved ones, family and friends, are brought peace and healing.

Tait was a wonderful colleague and despite his elevated status in our company, he was always just a phone call away. We worked together over the past 2 years on various initiatives. I wish I had gotten to know him better, as he seemed like a good person. I am saddened for your loss and am sending as much positive energy to your family as possible. I feel fortunate for the time that I got to spend with Tait professionally. God bless your loved ones.

I am truly sorry for your loss. It is with great sadness that I just learned of Tait's passing. I had worked directly with Tait at Liberty for a number of years and considered him a true friend in addition to a professional colleague. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Tait will be both missed tremendously and remembered dearly.

So sorry to hear of Tait's passing. Condolences to the family and friends. (Our Van Every family lived two houses west of the Nortons' house. My sister, Susan Van Every Mendenhall, used to babysit the four kids when they were very young and lived on W. Clarke Ave. in Coldwater, MI. She named her son Bret as she always liked Bret Norton's name! If Susan wasn't available to sit with the kids, I would get to sit with them. All four were such cute kids!)
