James C. Barnovitch, of Ft Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Boston MA, on March 28th at age 84. Son of the late William and Mary Barnovitch of Melrose, MA . He is pre-deceased by his brother Julius and sister Nellie (Murphy) Barnovitch. Loved by his surviving sister Adele Dwyer, of Melrose, MA, his nephews James Dwyer and his wife Denise of Melrose, MA, David Dwyer and his wife Patricia of Boynton Beach, FL, Stephen Dwyer and his wife Angela of Malden, MA, his nieces Mary Dwyer of Melrose, MA, Irene (Murphy) Schnare and her husband Chuck of West Townsend, MA and Kathleen (Murphy) Kaney of Leominster, MA, and his lifelong partner Ray Skiba of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Jim worked as an Administrator for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston for over 48 years. He served in the Korean War in the US Army.
