Obituary

There are no words to express our sorrow in the untimely passing of our dear brother Gerard "Jerry" Lawrence Jalbert 1966-2017. Jerry is the beloved son of Jeannette Pilon and Alfred Jalbert, was born in Springfield MA into a family of nine siblings. He is predeceased by his father. He leaves to mourn his 92 year old mother and his siblings. He graduated from the High School of Commerce in Springfield, MA. In addition to his family there he is survived also by his husband, Charles “Chuck” Blondeau and a host of friends he made over the years while in south Florida.

Jerry was a gentle, loving and artistic soul. He was deeply spiritual and reflective and openly shared his thoughts and concerns about life and the world. He believed that maintaining good relationships and righting the wrongs in one's life help to create a better world. He loved riding his motorcycle and the freedom it gave him.

Jerry is missed. We love him and he will be forever in our hearts. May he now rest in the fullness of God's love.

Family and friends may call at the Kalis-McIntee funeral home on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00. At the conclusion of the visitation a service will be held in which Jerry will be remembered by those who will share stories of how he impacted their life.
