Obituary

Mr. Christopher John Goodwin, age 35 of Pompano Beach, Florida died suddenly on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the anniversary of his beautiful baby sister, Gabrielle “Gabby” Nicole Goodwin, who died on October 24, 2016.  Born on October 7, 1982 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida a son to the proud parents, Edwin W., III and Terry Ann Force Goodwin. Chris was a graduate of Mainland Regional High School in New Jersey.  After graduating, Chris went to work for Cirignano Contracting where he worked on the Revel Atlantic Casino during the construction process as well as a number of other casinos. After his paternal grandmother fail ill in South Florida, Chris moved back where he would stay for the rest of his adult life and would essentially end up working alongside his father as a professional painter and one of his grandmothers’ primary caretakers.  When After completion of the IUPAT he went to work for Proietto Paint where he joined his father and was currently working at his untimely death. When Chris wasn’t working he was doing what he loved best, constantly improving his knowledge with computers and the internet.  He was an avid reader and brighter than he would ever acknowledge. Chris was an accomplished Martial Artist.  Although Chris’ life was cut short he will be remembered as a young man who was always happy and was the proud daddy to his doggie, Marley.  He will be missed by those who will forever cherish the memories he left in such a short life, especially by parents, Ed and Terry Goodwin; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Collar and paternal grandfather, Edwin W. Goodwin, Jr., who both reside in New Jersey. Also, several aunts, uncles and a large host of cousins will forever remember him. Family and Friends will gather at Kalis-McIntee Funeral Home, 2505 N. Dixie Highway in Wilton Manors, Florida 33305 on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm with a formal service to begin at 7pm in the chapel to honor the lives of both Chris and Gabby.
